Frequently Asked Questions
What services does One Place Solar Canada offer?
We provide solar design services, permit-ready plan packages,
project documentation, engineering coordination, and consultation
support for residential and commercial solar projects across Canada.
Do you work with Canadian solar installers and EPCs?
Yes. We work with Canadian solar installers, EPCs, contractors,
developers, and project owners to provide solar design and
documentation support throughout the project workflow.
Do you provide P.Eng. engineering stamps?
One Place Solar is a solar design and documentation company and
does not maintain an in-house professional engineering team.
When a project requires professional engineering review or a
P.Eng. stamp, we coordinate with independent Canadian engineering
partners who perform the applicable professional engineering review
and provide their professional seal or stamp where appropriate.
Is your service available nationwide in Canada?
We support solar projects and Canadian installers across multiple
provinces and territories. Service availability and engineering
requirements may vary by project, province, municipality, utility,
and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Do you handle utility and AHJ approvals?
We assist with preparing the design documentation required for
utility interconnection and AHJ submissions. Final approvals,
inspections, and acceptance are determined by the applicable
utility, municipality, AHJ, or other governing authority.
How fast is your turnaround time?
Most standard solar design and permit packages are delivered
within 2–3 business days, depending on project scope, information
provided, revisions, and other project requirements.
Do you offer EV charging station design?
Yes. We provide EV charging station design support for residential
and commercial projects, including charger layouts, site planning,
electrical single-line diagrams, load calculations, and
documentation support.
Do you offer ongoing support after design delivery?
Yes. We provide post-delivery support for design revisions,
documentation updates, and responses to project comments or
requests from applicable AHJs and utility companies.
